My business, Laurelei Jourdan, is all about creating sustainable, wearable, romantic pieces.

I use almost entirely recycled materials, down to the zippers and thread. Much of it is sourced from estate sales, thrifting, online marketplaces, and vintage shopping. I use a lot of seventies bed sheets, old quilted placemats, and decorative dish towels.

By merging traditional South Asian prints and craft with contemporary silhouettes, our pieces are meticulously crafted for the big occasions, the small moments, and everything in between– for all. In our efforts to create impactful practices, we not only ensure ethical wages for our artisans by cutting out the middleman, but also donate a portion of profits to animals in need.

Our brand values revolve around empowerment, enablement, and education. We empower the communities we come from by employing physically challenged people, we enable other budding brands to reach the right market, and we educate the consumer on the significance and possibility of south Asian designs.

Our garments are handmade in smaller batches by physically challenged heros and we believe in being sustainable not only with our sourcing, stitching, packaging, transportation but also by maintaining sustainable relationships.
